Hallo!

I just installed the alpine (2.21.9999) package in FreeBSD 12.0.

Before (today) I was runing alpine in FreeBSD 11.2 without problems.

I get the error above in the certificate that cannot be validated
(I copied below the message). My configuration has the line:

Gmail {imap.gmail.com:993/ssl/user=***@gmail.com}[],

If I substitute "ssl" with "tls", the connection does not success,
it does not ask for pass, just end presenting no folder.

I thank you for any hint
Rodrigo

Dear Rodrigo,

try the current version in the git repository at
http://repo.or.cz/alpine.git. That should have this issue fixed.
If you try it, please let me know how it works.

Thank you.

Yes, it works, thank you very much!

I managed to use git, but I will have to learn more. :)
